HI, i am wanting to make some carrot cake muffins, is it ok just to use the carrot cake recipe and not a specific muffin recipe? ? ?

ok so next thing, how on earth do i make those muffin cases that stick out the top of the muffin tip that are made of greasproof paper?

buzzwings, to make the muffin wrappers
1. Cut 5-inch square pieces of baking paper .
2. Spray a muffin tin with vegetable oil cooking spray to hold baking paper in place.
3. Place 1 piece of baking paper into 1 cup of the tin, pressing along folds to crease. Repeat with other cups and parchment pieces.
4. Scoop batter into cups, and bake.
