how far in advance can jelly be made..I have so much to do I want to start things tomorrow so not sure what to do first and what will keep best for the three days? TIA

Jelly doesn't go 'off' Hint I gave in another jelly thread was to add citric acid & it brings out the flavour.

ok..how much? I am just doing packets for children - I have made my own raspberry before but not this time as its for so many I have 6 packets, 2 for xmas day and 4 for boxing day. How far in advance can I make them?

1/2tsp per pkt. Jelly will keep. Just cover after set so they don't get a fridge taste. You poor soul, how have you ended up having to cook 2 days?

Its ok..Christmas is light..just ham and salads etc in the evening, no christmas lunch this year as daughter has to have turns with the inlaws either lunch time or evening, boxing day is a big family bbq so everyoe will be contributing. But will have a champagne brunch maybe eggs benedict seeing as we have our own chickens and the free range eggs are delicous.

it will keep for ages, just make sure you wrap it or have it in a covered bowl as it can flavour other things in the fridge.

Be fine, keep covered & when making add tsp citric acid per jelly. Brings out the flavour.
