Theres a online store called nelson naturally and they sell both hickory and maple liquid smoke in 100ml and 250ml and its very reasonable coz a little goesm a long way!

It is pretty easy to make, you lay some salt and sugar down on a cheese cloth then smoke it in a smoker. Mix the salt and sugar with water and you have liquid smoke

Once the liquid is made does it keep.How do you use it.Any other information you can add.Is it equal amounts of salt and sugar (white or brown).Is that how you would smoke salt for food and put into a grinder.Thanks, thought is may make great presents for the kids to make for xmas.

I buy it by the bottlt from the Nelson company. Its great.
