Cant find them in the supermarket whats the closest thing to use? Capers? Its for a brandy and peppercorn sauce for steak

I would just use cracked pepper and maybe add a few whole pepper corns then, capers are completly different and will make it more salty :)

Yup. . get some peppercorns and lightly crush on chopping board. . capers will add another dimension...
