Can you buy chocolate without milk or make chocolate using kremelta with no milk? My step daughter is on a dairy free diet, but thought we might be able to make chocolate with kremelta & then discovered the recipes to make chocolate using kremelta had milk powder in them. Anyone have a milk free version or does it need milk in it?

I have discovered Cacao Butter and Creamed Coconut. From these I make a "Coconut Chocolate". I am actually a low carber so this wonderfully decadent delight probably wouldn't suit your step daughter in this form. However, it does occur to me that if you added sugar and cocoa powder you would have a delicious, dairy and everything else free, choccy bar. I would do a trial run but then I'd have to throw it away because of the sugar.
Also there is the possibility of adding flavours like dessicated coconut, dried raspberries or even raspberry jus, dried apples, etc.
I'll locate the recipe and post a link here if you want.

Thanks guys, never thought of that. Ended up just putting cocoa & icing sugar in melted kremela & didnt taste too bad, so we know that works, but the real stuff would be better. I like dark chocolate. Dont know why I didnt think of that

Chocolate Oreo cookies from supermarket and also Hundreds & Thousands biscuits (the square ones - NOT round) are both dairy free - as are lemon crisp biscuits (more like a 2 crackers with lemon centre style)
