I know the theory but can’t seem to blend the dry ingredients into the wet without mixing

mixing is stiring, blending is like scooping the mixture around to blend in. hope that makes sense :)

Savoury muffins/ scones, sausage rolls, bulk out the sausage meat with grated veges, adding some mixed herbs and rolled oats, pizzas with various toppings, bacon and egg slice, quiche, any or all of these are great fillers for hollow legged teens. I always found that savoury items were preferred to sweet although I always served both.

I'm the same, it doesn't seem right to not mix the flour in properly does it?

It's a goodie . simple & nutritious.
It's a 'go to' for me, when I can't be faffed cooking.
I've served it to friends for lunch & the recipe has often been requested.

Good Lord ! I can’t believe that recipe is still doing the rounds HOWEVER I am pleased it is, as it easy to cook

For those that have seen this recipe for the first time - some will Think OMG 10 eggs ! I made the servings to be 5 days to take to work as a reheat so It was over 5 days as in 2 eggs and bacon per day.
