I couldn't agree more. The rubbish children are fed at some daycare centres has to be seen to be believed then, as you say, a harassed solo mum with no helpmate and a tight time table to feed, bathe and do simple tasks like laundry, the dishes, etc will more than likely be doing the pre-packaged stuff (more junk) again for dinner.
The kiddies are not gaining food knowledge and so there will be a whole new generation of adults with no nutritional or food storage skills. So sad.
But it is not just beneficiaries. In Auckland two parent families have to work as well to keep a roof over their heads and they are forced to put even their babies into daycare.
