A platter of fruit can look spectacular and is appreciated by people who want to eat lightly. Use melons,kiwifruit,strawberries,-
cherries etc and present on a big platter. Children will love it too. Merry Christmas!

bump for brunch/lunch salads

sherrydog, Dec 8, 1:36am
Have just been to a winery for lunch. One of the salads served with a pumpkin/feta/spring onion/tomato one dressed with a simple olive oil dressing. I enquired from the waitress and the pumpkin was simply grated raw with the other ingredients added. Quite tasty. I am sure you could vary this as it was quite colourful.

My spinach salad includes bacon, cashews, oranges or kiwifruit and avocado. Everyone likes it with or without a dressing.
