I reckon all the foodies in here will be the best people to ask. where is a great place to go just for dessert!Preferably in West Auckland, but central or elsewhere also considered :-)For a Hen's Party, so I'm looking for good atmosphere and decadent desserts (to make up for the fact that the hen doesn't want any other fuss!).Thanks for all suggestions!

We did the fondant at Dine one night - but that was just hubby and me - not too sure they would be keen on a bunch of "Hens" turning up :). but as always Google is a great place to start - have found this page for you : http://www.localist.co.nz/auckland/articles/top-ten-places-to-go-for-dessert Hope it helps
Thanks very much kiwiactress.This hens party would be more like a bunch of friends rather than the usual crazy hens group.We will be dressed up but not 'silly' and most are non-drinkers etc.So it wouldn't disturb others in a nice restaurant!

How about the Falls! They do have great desserts, but maybe you'd need to check with them.

Ha didn't think of the Falls, thanks lemming2. I looked up some of the options from the links above and they didn't have much to offer for desserts (or were closed down or far away). so finally found Lone Star which surprisingly has quite a good range of dessert.But will check out the Falls as I haven't done the invites yet.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
