Have bought a pack of pastrami but not sure how to use it.Does it need cooking in frypan first. Can I use it in a hot pasta dish or even past salad! Any help appreciated.

tuscany9, I assume that your pastrami is the same as (or similar to) what is now one of my DH's favourites - have a look at:- http://www.hellers.co.nz/pre-packed-meats/detail/7-pre-packed-meats/flypage/24-seasoned-pastrami!sef=hcfp No it wouldn't need any cooking at all.We mainly have the pastrami when we're away in our caravan and in that case we have it in wraps but IMO it could be used pretty much as you would any similar cooked meat - wraps, sandwiches, rolls, and "even pasta salad" or simply with salad.
Hope that helps.:-))
