What do prawns go with?

I want to make some nice prawn kebabs (threaded on sticks) but what can I put inbetween! Don't want anything fatty like bacon, maybe a type of veg! Thanks

pineapple with prawns is a bit like pineapple in sweet and sour pork or pizza- not quite right in my view
