no they are just maltesers so i hope he loves it, it was so easy to do as well

Yum looks great - a girl at uni made a cake like that for the class and she also put Maltesers on different length bits of florist wire so they were sticking out all over the top of the cake - looked awesome!

That would be a good idea, I was wondering how cutting the cake would go with them sitting on top, mind you at a 40th by the time the cake is cut nothing in the room would seam straight anyway.

I have done this on a cake, and I just used the knife to push them on either side of the cut

That looks amazing. what type of icing did you use to stick the fingers on with, a butter cream! as it looks quite dark.
(only asking as i can see that being the next celebration cake I make lol)
