Does anyone have an instruction manual for a B&D Igloo ice cream maker! I was just wondering - do you put the bowl in the freezer prior to churning! Cheers

i have a breville icecream bowl that fits onto my mixer and that has to be chilled before its used for churning-so I would think you would the same.

Thanks - this one is like the complete unit without a removable bowl, but it sounds like liquid sloshing around in the lining, which led me to think it would need freezing ahead of time.

yes thats the same as mine,you need to freeze it for 24 hour before and if you have room in your freezer store it there so its ready to go the next time.
