I have 3 packets of broken meringues.I know somewhere I have seen a dessert recipe that calls for broken meringues.Does anyone of any suggestions of how they could be used up/incorporated in to a dessert recipe that I could take to a BBQ tomorrow.!

You could make Eaton Mess - broken meringues, cream, strawberries. Search under key word to find a recipe on here for it.

You'll get better search results if you spell it as Eton, the school where it was "invented".
I just scatter meringues over icecream or fruit. Or over lemon curd in tartlets for your take on lemon meringue pie.

Lemon Meringue Swirl
Meringues 500 mls whipped cream Jar of Lemon Spread.
Mix together and chill. Very refreshing.
