pog_mo_thoin, while I agree with fifie re Alison and Simon Holst's books (they have 3 crockpot/slow cooker books in total now), IMO if you're wanting only one book to get you started with your slow cooker I recommend Joan Bishop's "New Zealand Crockpot & Slow Cooker Cookbook".:-))
