what can I do to remedy this, please people? It's a crockpot nectarine chutney, and I only used about 2/3 of the brown sugar specified in the recipe, but just tasted it and it seems way too sweet to me... ... .

try some lemon juice gradually till you get the right taste.

if its way too sweet then I'd pop in a slug of red wine vinegar
