Help with a lost recipe - Cheese Puffs

beebs, Aug 31, 3:21pm
I had an old faithful recipe for never fail cheese puffs, the method was cracking eggs (2 or 3) into (2 or 3 cups) of cold water, this was beaten/whisked until fluffy, then combined with dry ingredients, flour, raising agent and cheese, salt.this recipe never let me down, does anyone have something like this in their recipe book!

JO SEAGAR'S CHEESE PUFFS

2 cups flour
3 cups cheese ( grated tasty)
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
4 tsp baking powder

Mix with spatula and put in 12 mounds on greased tray or baking paper. Put into 250*C and then TURN OFF for ten minutes.

PS I don't often have tasty cheese, so use Edam plus pinch of cayenne pepper

Spoon into muffin tins.

dress the tops before cooking to make them look kid yummy!

These are great as you can add anything you like to them. They freeze well too and just zap in microbe to warm. Eat as is or add butter and chutney etc:)
