No it has a higher fat content and is much harder, it doesn't cream like marg or butter. You could possibly melt and substitute for oil in muffins, but kremelta is also not as taste friendly, has a more bland fatty flavour.Also damn expensive at around $6.20 a pottle. Only thing I use kremelta for is in melted chocolate icing for slices (tastes similar to choc dip used on ice cream.)
