Curry Easy, by Madhur Jaffrey. Abla's Lebanese Kitchen, by Abla Amad. Simple recipes that taste magnificent, and beautifully presentedbooks as well (ie, illustrations and photographs).

that Whittakers chocolate cookbook looks devine, DH pointed it out last week when in Whitcoulls, not sure if it was a hint for him or me.

I got a cheese making kit for this xmas, and now a really good book would be welcome, otherwise not sure if I have seen any new books I really want.

I think everyone should have a copy of the Four Ingredients cookbook plus the good old Edmonds cookbook.

The best one's I've seen from this year so far - Monica's Kitchen by Monica Galetti, The Engine Room cookbook and I like this vegetable (but not vegetarian) cookbook - Mr Wilkinson's Vegetable Cookbook.

For good everyday family cooking you cant beat an Alison Holst book.
I enjoy Moroccan and North African cooking books and also Greek cooking.
