i made a batch of raspberry jam today and then got inspired to use some in a marshmallow shortcake. so i used one of the recipies on here and added the jam layer. it all turned out pretty good except i had SO MUCH marshmallow, like double the amount needed to cover the shortcake base, so i put the rest in a seperate tray to set as just marshmallow on its own. just wondering if anyone else finds the standard recipe makes far too much marshmallow? i think the quantity was 1cup water, 2dsp gelatine, 2cups sugar
