i have a size13 chickenand i want to put it in a steamer thing in the microwave would 45mins each side be enough. thanks

Never done one in the m/wave but 45 mins on each side sounds too long. One poached in a pot only takes an hour so 2 x 45 stints would ruin it. Try 20 mins each side ( not sure what that means ) you can always put it back in after the chicken has rested for a few mins to check for doneness.
