Thanks for the memory #1.. my MIL used to make this with the sultana's in it too.. I've been making some of her recipes for my Kid's.. passing them on to them.. will make this one too.. thanks..

It is best baked with the pudding dish in a tray of hot water-softer result-the sides can burn otherwise

oh wow...awesome!! I can remember this from my childhood, and have often wanted to make it, but thought it might have been something my mum made up out of her head!(I can remember the sea-shell pasta being used sometimes, yum yum yum!:) Yippee, am stoked to have come across this,thanks pickles...roll on winter ,cant wait to make it for my grownup kids lol
