Croc pot macaroni and cheese

It's not my intention to be rude even though it might sound that way, but with all the cooking you have to do anyway for this recipe, why not just do it the good old fashioned way.boil macaroni in one pot and make the cheese sauce in the other. Combine when macaroni is cooked, grate cheese on top and grill if wanted. All takes about 15 minutes, never curdles and a nice simple, yet tasty favourite in this household. That other recipe seems to still have a lot of prep to then cook for 2 hours.

Ive been experimenting with croc pot macaroni lately because I didnt believe it was possible to make good macaroni in a croc pot. I thought it would be mush. so far all Ive found is its very dry. but this one might be the winner :)

microwave macaroni cheese.

2 cups of macaroni
3 cups hot water
1 teaspoons salt
100 grams of butter

1 and 1/2 cups of milk

300 grams of grated tasty cheese
1/4 cup of plain flour
1 and 1/2 teaspoons of dry mustard powder.

Microwave the water, butter, salt and macaroni for 12 minutes
without a lid, stir twice in the 12 minutes.
stand 5 minutes.
Add the milk,
mix together the rest of the ingredients, and stir in.
microwave a further 3 minutes, stir microwave further 3 minutes.
serve.

I have found Alison Holts one brilliant, just bung it all in and yummo. Never have a fail with it ever. Its the crock pot one
