I do them every year with the small hollow ( made with the end of a wooden spoon) and a little jam and chocolate on the back. I do heart shaped ones. Let me know if you want the recipe.

My Mum used to make them all the time, as a square-shaped cake that we'd slice and butter.
The other day she was saying that the last couple of times she made it, she had a LOT of air bubbles in the cake (which was always like a dense gingerbread texture).... what could be going wrong?She asked me, but I don't have a clue lol!!
