Gas style Deep Fryer....

my brother in las vegas has just bought an *outside* gas deep fryer*. (he is usless at doing photos on email)..and said they cooked the turkey for dinner. he said it was not greasy and the next day, they put in a big bit of steak, 1 mins and it was done.
It works with a gas bottle.
just wondered if anyone had heard of them.
a chicken took 20mins, and he said definatly not greasy.....

apparently they are really good, and the turkey skin goes like crackling kind of.

Yum, nothing, but nothing, beats deep fried turkey. Crispy on the outside, juicy, succulent and tender on the inside. Those specialty fryers at the link above look pretty cool. In my 30 years in Canada I saw a few specialty ones in use, and more than a few DIY jobs. I never witnessed any incidents but heard about a few garages, porches, decks, etc. going up in flames, along with the turkey. :-)
