I freeze them with the husk off and cut into three's. . I find it's easier to grab a few pieces and toss them in a pan of boiling water when they are needed.

Yup. . easier to clean up when fresh... cut into cobbs, 3 for large long and 2 for smaller ones. . Into large pot of rolling boiling water with a tsp of salt for about 2 or so mins and then using tongs, into sink of real cool/iced water. . pat dry into vacuum freeze bag and label. . I do lots of 2, 4, 6so I can use them for different occasions... .

Dont blanch them, just freeze them. Husks on or off, doesnt matter.

Grew them for the first time and so beautiful, just pulled them off and froze with the husks on like everyone else has mentioned, also my beans I have been picking 1kg at a time! keep sending them to hubbies work we cant keep up but my tomatoes dies, think I'm in the wrong thread... ... sneaks over to gardening! ! !
