I make plain yoghurt every week, and now daughter has asked if I can make some vanilla flavoured for her. I use full cream milk and a dollop of the previous batch (dont use the sachets), and am not sure at what point to add the vanilla..as the milk is heating, or, after mixing in the starter, or once the yoghurt has set?

after mixing in the starter. i would reduce the milk a fraction to allow for the vanilla. Unless you use paste.

I would make some unflavoured ones too, so you have some without Vanilla to start your next batch.
