in the NZWW for a vege frittata. has some feta cheese in it, but i dont like feta. Isthere anything else i can use to substitute it? eg normal cheese.

If you don't like feta you could try cottage cheese or use normal cheese. Both will work but the texture will be different.

craftylady l hope you don't mind me posting recipe for gr8stuf4me

Vegetable Frittata
1 red capsicum
8 eggs
salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 medium sized kumara, cooked and roughly chopped
1 parsnip, cooked and roughly chopped
3 potatoes, cooked and roughly chopped
125g feta, crumbled
1 tbsp finely chopped rosemary
Preheat oven to 200C
Grill capsicum until blackened and then rub off skin and discard seeds. Slice flesh into thin strips
Beat eggs and season with salt and pepper
Mix in vegetables, feta and rosemary
Line a 24cm round cake pan and pour in mixture
Cook until set through
Serve wither warm or at room temperature
Prepare time 15 minutes Cook time 15 minutes Serves 4
Tip this is a great way to use up leftover roast vegetables
