I made the doughboys from this recipe last week. I cooked them on a good old fashioned bone stew - hoggett neck chops & heaps usual veg, slow cooked in dutch oven. They sucked up the gravy beautifully.
I thought it unusual this recipe had an egg in it but they were very delish ! I added a little fresh parsley, sage, thyme & tiny pinch of mixed dried herbs.
