Maybe i never had a "normal" one - scones is something I never took a liking to.

I use either a buttermilk scone or the fizzy and cream recipe, depending on which dairy product I have. Have used anything fizzy, from beer, lemonade or soda water. The good thing about the 3 ingred. Is that it is so quick, and IMO way nicer product than the never fail scone recipe with the egg ( turns it cakey).
