is it possible to buy ones that are larger than the normal standard size ones and if so from where?

Not sure, but Southern Hospitality would be a good start.

I don't think so, standard size is the traditional one.

you can make your own by making cardboard cones and cover with aluminum foil

Years ago at school we had cones that were made from looked like paper mache, I think they were from the rag trade. (kids tied string to them and made small cone hats) They were about twice the size of standard cream horn moulds. Not sure if they are available now.

Thanks guys. Was searching for them for a friend. The cardboard and foil idea was what I had suggested.
