Who has made this. I havent made it before but have eaten it. I am seeing different recipes, ie they have the same ingredients, the countdown recipe I have just says heat the oil then mix iverything together without baking. some other recipes I have seen say to bake them in the oven.

OK, I cannot stop myself, but what on earth are 'Nuts and Bolts'!Not sure I dare google!
This recipe is made in a roasting pan. Mix together the top three products in the pan. Drizzle ½ cup of warmed oil (your choice) over the mixture. Keep stirring until all mixed. Mix the other four ingredients together then stir into the nut mixture in the pan. Stir every 15 minutes for an hour. After an hour put into airtight jars and store in the fridge. Take out when wanted and enjoy. (This recipe is not cooked in any way.)":-))

oh - I see - thanks sam, i saw that recipe and didnt read it properly. So it's 'not cooked' but you keep stirring it to keep amalgamating all the oil and seasonings.

I love Nuts and Bolts!But I like the bolts better so tend to leave the nuts out!

I saw Astor and her son Slade make nuts n bolts on TVNZ good morning show.It wasn't cooked.Can't find find the recipe online.Did anyone else find it!
