Have just made my son's birthday cake for his party Saturday (Annabel Langbein's choc cake recipe).I'll ice it tomorrow.But is it best to keep it in the fridge wrapped in gladwrap or is it fine in the cupboard - esp in this sticky humid weather!

I'd go with cupboard and not quite air tight, so it doesn't sweat.

I wouldn't wrap it in GladWrap but I would put it in a Tupperware container and keep it somewhere cool and dark - doesn't need to be the fridge unless it's creamed although in this humid weather it might be easier to ice a really cold cake

We have 25 degrees here at present with 90% humidity - and I would put it into the fridge here.

Thanks guys reallyhumid here too, it's in the fridge so will leave it overnight & take it out tomorrow to ice.
