What sort of dressing do you think l should put on

griffo4, Nov 30, 8:03am
l am making a salad for a party on Sunday and l am not big on making these, l tend to eat them without dressings
it will have cherry tomatoes, red and green peppers, olives, feta or mozzarella balls, parsley sprinkled over the top
What sort of salad dressing should l put over this l was hoping to make a dressing rather than buy one
Any recipes or ideas greatly appreciated thanks

Probably just a viniagrette which is nice and light and wont overpower the salad. Put it into a pourer and let people drizzle it on their sald once they have served themselves.

50%/50% oil and vinegar - a good quality olive oil and maybe balsamic vinegar.a small garlic clove crushed, a good squeeze mustard, salt to taste and blitz in a blender to emulsify. Purrrrrfect for your salad! (if you don't have Balsamic vinegar just use Malt vinegar.

(I use an old 1/4 pint cream bottle for salad dressings.put all ingredients in.palm of hand over top of bottle and shake vigorously - voila!).
