50/50 olive oil and vingear, a little mustard (dijon is good), salt, and sometimes i add a little crushed garlic

The olive oil I usually use is Village Press but sometimes I use Extra light and sometimes I add a drop of sesame oil, though it just depends on what salad I'm dressing. And the vinegar I use can be anything from Balsamic to red wine to malt, but the 50/50 ratio never changes. It's great on green or potato salad.

a really low fat option is
1 cup plain low fat non-sweetened yoguart
1/8-1/4 cup of vinager which ever you want to use but I use malt
a small squirt of dijon mustard
splenda - approx 1/4-1/2 cup depending on your taste
put all in a shaker and mix well.It will taste like the highlander dressing but thinner and alter the amounts to your taste.to be honest I don't measure, I just go by taste.
