inrecipe in one of the old Edmonds cookbooks I use to make a recipe for cheesecakes.They were not like the cheesecakes of today but more of little pie type things I made the, in muffin like trays. Please does anyone have the old Edmonds book with that recipe.

Edmonds Cheese Cakes 125g butter, 125g sugar, 2 eggs, 150g flour, 1 teasp Baking Powder. Cream butter & sugar. Beat eggs and alternately with sifted flour and baking powder. Roll out flaky pastry and line about 21 pattytins. Put a teaspoon of raspberry jam in the bottom of each then a large spoonful of the cake mixture. Place a small piece of pastry on top. Bake about20 minutes at 200C

instead of jam put get a tin of plum halves and put a half plum in instead it is so much nicer.
