i have strained the juice and have run out of time.

can i freeze it and return to it later!

Absolutely. I have some apple pulp straining at the moment, and I intend to freeze until I have more time to make some jelly. Lucky you having crab apples:-)

Yes you can duckmoon. I also ran out of time with mine and it turned out beautifully when I finally got around to making it. I often do this with jams and jellies and have never had a problem.

PS. I should have said that I have frozen the strained juice many times in the past, and made jelly or jam later.

you will find that there is so much pecton in crab apple that it seems to be setting around the edges of the pot while the centre is boiling keep this in mind and dont leave your juice to boil you will end up with rubberi did
