yes you can suplement 1 tablespoon of golden syrup for eggs as long as you do use an egg so if it calls for 2 eggs use 1 egg and 1 tbl of GS

You can replace all the eggs with golden syrup. It works and that is what they did in war times when eggs were not available.

You can also replace eggs with oil, 1 tsp canola or similar oil for each egg

I use egg protein powder - gluten free, dairy free, lactose free and vegetarian too!

You can substitute one tablespoon of custard powder for one egg but needs to have at least one other egg in the recipe.
