Gee, I didn' even get time to copy and paste! Grrr. Why the big sudden move to delete, I thought I had time up my sleeve to copy and paste, and besides it looked promising that the site was going to continue. :o(

Oh, how I will miss the site Eden! ! You were always so helpful and prompt in getting back when I first visited the site in its start-up. I have used so many of the recipes, and saved most of them thank goodness, and would like to add my sincere thanks and very good wishes for you in the future xx.

but there was nothing posted that I saw which was in the least bit offensive. I thought everyone was saying thank you to fetish for all her hard work and offering to help. Perhaps I missed something.
It is frustrating though to have lost the recipes - I had my own thread and had posted recipes which I had got on the Boards and which other people had given me. I would have welcomed the chance to save them.

Attitude? ? more like dissapointment! ! There was no need to suddenly delete the whole forum, July was the date, a lot of great offers were on the table, and BOOM! deleted - gone - this I do not get either. And don't get me wrong I am appeciative of this site, just not the way it vanished without warning.

The offers were there for others to take over completely, so that would have meant no time, stress, effort or tax on OP's health. .
If the offers were not welcome then by all means it should have been deleted and disabled in July. Seems like a knee jerk emotional driven decision to delete.

Thank you for your efforts. I do have to agree with some of the other comments. I do think it is a great shame that you just deleted it. Surely even a day or two warning would have been fair to allow people to save some of the recipes. From what I understand, a lot of people have contributed to the website. It is very sad.

Reading through this thread I had hopes on the site staying alive and moving forward, new recipes etc. Buit NO! Bubble was burst! I loved using the site and would of helpt with adding recipes etc. Such a shame and a waste that we didn't get warning to copy and paste the recipes that we loved. So much help was put forward to fetish I guess it all got too much for her to think about but she had untill July to make a either ither decision and in worse case sernario we would of had till the to copy and paste. Oh well suppose wie will still have this. Seem like a tanty moment though IMO without warning yeah. But thank you Fetish for making the site and the years you put into it.

Hi all, have just skimmed over the thread and had a quick look at the site.
Why not just move to a free forum hosting site? You would lose the domain name I guess but then everything would be free from then on.
