I have felt like I was being stalked by .cookessentials.I don't know where she gets the time from while she is working. I don't give my cell phone number out, so have not experienced, abusive texts.

I don't give mine out either as I have very limited reception. So far, it has we don't know how the person got the number. I know where the phone was purchased but it was a cheap pre-pay so it is very hard to take it further. I also know the general area where the calls originated.

yes, sadly there is but they dont frighten me.they just dont like it when I stand up for myself. The only thing I find with that is that they then like to turn the tables and make out I am nasty.however, there is only so much one can take and they seem to love to hone in on the more sensitive posters and make them feel second rate. Funnily enough, there are really only three who seem to be the constant stirrers, dont think I really have too many problems with anyone else. Those same three seem to rub everyone up the wrong way. I have had some lovely people come into the shop to say hello. If I ever had a problem with any of the nasty ones visiting my store, they would be shown the door and I would have no hesitation in involving the police if needs be. I have seen alot of the vitriole directed towards you kay.sadly, it seems the norm for those posters.

Ever the stirrer again I see. As I also run an online store, I am often on the computer in between serving customers ( not that I owe you an explanation) as for stalking you! Now THAT is funny.dont flatter yourself.

I had a set of three and still have the Papa Bear size and the Baby Bear one.
However, the Mama Bear middle one had slightly higher sides and wasn't getting used, so I gave it to a friend who wanted one for making lead sinkers for fishing. It's perfect for that.

WOT!They don't plan to use it for cooking after the sinkers, pickles ;)

Clearly pickles has had her share of lead poisoning. I THINK she thinks the pan is lead based and being used to make the sinkers.

WOT!
pickles, I DID give my friend an old cast iron pan to melt lead in for sinkers.for his fishing expeditions. He's not going to use it to cook in, and he's not going to give it back to me to cook in either.
I'm happy to answer your question, but I don't know what it is.

Oh Alan, you talk through a hole in your head. You very rarely come here and when you do, you are always obnoxious. You obviously dont have a clue what you are talking about. The only time there are ever any "arguments" as you call them is when the usual few continue to stir the pot which they have done for many years. If you think that it is right that the likes of uli, buzzy, pickles continue to be completely rude and condescending to a large number of posters on the boards, then you are not much better. Your attitude was shown only a few days ago on another thread, so please dont start throwing your weight around on here, thanks. Do you know, I dont think I have ever seen one positive post from you on these boards, always so very negative.

Any particular reason why you felt it necessary to bump this thread! moreorless has the pastry recipe and why should it worry you who he/she is!
uli,

I didn't bump it - it was pickles7 I just wanted to know who the person was. AND why are YOU worried about it!
elliehen,

The mischievous bumping of threads for the sole purpose of rekindling stuff best forgotten is deplorable.
The motive is transparent, and that certainly worries a lot of reasonable people.

Hi, saw my name :-) I have a love of cooking, and enjoy spending time browsing the recipes, Iam in awe of the knowledge you ladies have of cooking and the cooking processes of complicated recipes and how to use and cook unusual ingredients, I have learnt a lot. I also enjoy the American blog Pioneer Woman for those of you who havent heard of it, its worth a look imo.

Back to the topic. I made a Tarte Tatin from the recipe on Masterchef. There is a video to accompany the recipe which shows the Masterclass. From memory the recipe is one he learnt from Gordon Ramsay
