My mother used to make a caramel slice that had the caramel (condensed milk) sandwiched between the cake part.I have searched all over the web but keep coming up with the recipes that have choc on top.I'm certain the runny caramel was inbetween two layers and she put normal chocolate icing on the top.I think the cake part had cocoa in it too.If anyone has the recipe, I would be very grateful.
