Recipe for Ambrosia please....

I made it once years ago & can't remember what I put in it.Did it with yoghurt & cream & yuck!Does anyone have a nice, simple, tasty recipe please.Also, is it nice with coconut?

i make mine with passionfruit yogurt ,1/2 cup coconut,ans a bag of cut up marshmellows.
you can add whipped cream if you like

Ambrosia summer dessert:
1kg yoplait very berry yoghurt
500mls cream
500 gm frozen mixed berries *reserve a few for garnish if desired*
180gm pkt marshmallows
Chop marshmallows in half
whip cream to form soft peaks
Fold in yoghurt, berries and marshmallows
leave in fridge for 4-5 hrs or overnight to soften marshmallows
Gently stir and serve in glasses. garnish with a few reserved berries and mint leaves.

Mine is pretty much the same but I also add crushed up mini meringues and broken up flake bar into it.Oh yum yum yum!!

I have always used yoghurt and cream - are you wanting to replace both of them?

You can add chocolate sprinkles anything you want really cherries, crystallised ginger

I love this one, no cream, no yogurt use sour cream instead.

2 cups chopped marshmallows (or use the mini ones unchopped)
small tin manderines drained
1 tin pineapple drained
2 cups coconut
250mls sour cream
bunch of grapes

Mix well together in a med bowl.Cover and refrigerate overnight.

You can also use other seasonal fruit if you wish.

500mls Berry Yoghurt
500mls Cream whipped
Med bunch of seedless Grapes
1-2 Cups of chopped or mini Marshmallows
1/2 pkt of Pineapple lumps chopped
2 Flakes crumbled up

Whip cream well, stir in yoghurt. Chop Grapes, marshmallows, pineapple lumps mix through. Crumble the flakes up and stir though.

I have also used Choc chips, Kiwi Fruit, I have see people sprinkle Jelly crystals in it too. :o)

Ambrosia
I beat 300 mls of cream then add two small bottles of fruit yoghurt and 1 tin of drained boysenberriesthen I put in 1 packet of chopped marshmellows and then mix slightly and chill and serve can also use plain yoghurt

Ambrosia recipe 2
Put in pot 2 egg yolks with 2 tablespoons of butter and juice and rind of two lemons cook slowly over heat watching issimilar to lemon honey in texture
when cool add 300ml of beaten cream, a tin of drained fruit salad and chopped up grapes and a packet of chopped of marshmellows chill
