I have just been given a heap of frozen pears, the person that gave them to me loves my pear chutney, but I have never made it with frozen pears..will it work?Does anyone have any frozen pears reciepes for chutney...Thanks people... Anne

I have cooked many chutneys with frozen/fruit.Veg my advice and what works for me is to defrost over sieve/colonder night before put liquid to one side and make chutney in normal manner. If it appears to thick add some of the juice. Then you can also keep the juice not used for something else. cheers

Thanks for that it was my worry they will be watery after freezing..and just fall to mush.. you don't have a pear chutney recipe do you?Thanks Anne
