Ganache ratio using dairy milk chocolate plesse

Hi there
I’m wanting to make a ganache for my husband’s birthday cake but I am u sure if the ratios. The recipes I have seen on Google are only for dark choc and I want to use Dairy Milk choc. Will it be the same or will I need to add More choc? Thanks

Most ganache recipes use 2:1 chocolate to cream. I would just go ahead with that as I have done it with Milk Chocolate before and even chocolate bits and it has set all right. Unless you want to pipe it I am sure it will be fine after all it is chocolate so how bad could it be.
