Shoulder lamb in crockpot how long

I can't help from personal experience because we don't eat lamb however these are the instructions as given in my Sunbeam Crock-Pot's Instruction Booklet.

"Lamb
Cut away fat.Place meat in Crock-Pot and cover.Cook as required.
Approximate cooking times per 500g
High1-1¼ hours per 500g
Auto/Low2-2½ hours per 500g
No need to turn meat during cooking.
Note:When cooking pork or other fatty meats, place meat on a small trivet to allow excess fat to drain."

Hope that helps, although I think any response to jenny73's questions is a bit late now for what was obviously her intentions for Christmas 2011.:-))

Want to do a shoulder in the crockpot for christmas lunch as oven will be full, any idea how long this will take! Should I do it on low overnight or on high from early christmas morning!Ive done it before along time ago and it was beautiful
