Kingfish steaks

Any ideas first time we have had them and unsure how to cook

Simplest way is dust in flour and fry in Butter.Simplicity is best with these as they are truely awesome.

if you have a lemon squeeze alittle juice in the pan while the fish is frying and if you have any left over juice in the pan when u finished make a sauce with it

ok doesnt have to be anything flash but if you have some sour cream in the fridge that would be good
thin slice some red/white or spring onions in the juice just a qik fry then add some of that sour cream salt/pepper to taste and thats iteven with out the sauce kingfish is devine ............way too yummy

thanks for that, and yes have lemons so will use them in pan and maybe make a sauce

yup kingfish steaks... chopped across the bone with a hacksaw.. 3cm thick..
wet them, lots of black pepper and a pinch or three of salt,then dust them in "coat and cook" to stick... onto the hot grill or BBQ until golden brown turning once... sweet, sweet fish... few slices of lemon on the side... dont overcook is the trick....
