With all due respect Aunty uli many aspects of a 70s university education are positively paleo. And the US meat producers are the biggest lobby group after the gun lobby!

This is elliehen NOT being rude again.

uli, Feb 6, 7:43pm
Naw - she is never rude - nor does she have any idea on how much and when I have studied LOL :)

And if you want 'rude', just head back into the low-carb thread and re-read all the puerile 'jokes' directed at my username!

elliehen,

I have NO inclination to enter into a war of words with you, and whether you 'endorse' my style of feeding my family [in another thread] is neither here nor there [to me].
You can try and justify the way you behave all you like, but It's comments like 'aunty' that rile others.
But maybe thats what you are trying to achieve?

In any case, I will NOT be adding further to this thread.

edited to add:
I agree that comments made like this are juvenile. . but when you make comments like you have in this thread about those posters, it adds fuel to the fire [which I do suspect you enjoy].
However, juvenile [as I said in an earlier post] is the fact that you have deemed it necessary to blacklist from your auctions, everyone [it seems] that posts in the low carb threads.

doug57, the poster you are defending is quite happy to defend herself - vociferously over in General, where she once suggested I look, and you'll find much stronger words than 'Aunty' there in replies to her posts and the many threads she has started. There's even one curious post where she gives a link to a thread in Recipes that she was simultaneously saying on here should be shut down!

Curiouser and curiouser... .

This thread was hijacked by posters #2 and #9 and is now as far from Tofu as you are from me, because you say you don't want any dialogue. However, you did ask about three questions of me, so maybe I'll answer them in a more appropriate thread on some sort of neutral ground - certainly not on the low-carb thread where you invited me into the [c]oven!

Find any curry recipe and substitute the meat with Tofu. The tofu takes on the flavour of the sauce and is yummy.

With regards to the negative comments about Tofu (generally put out by the meat industry) -I know many people including myself that eat this and hey... . we're still alive, well, with less problems than meat eaters! !

pmsl I never expected to find a debate quite like this when looking for tofu recipes.

the funny thing is, the original poster is a friend of mine who ventured onto the TMMB only because she heard me talk about all the great advice I get on here.
After the B***H Fight that broke out after her very innocent question, I dont thing she has ever been brave to come back here again! ! ! lol

Thats really sad, I know of a few posters who have been put off by the over the top lectures & comments from some on here

Think I'm gonna bin that tofu and go back to my 'if it tastes good don't eat it' theory.
