Has anyone ever weighed a Betty Crocker cake mix, they say they are 600gms and I thought great I wanted to divide my mix into 6 parts to colour, on weighing it out,I only got 500gms has anyone else found this.!

Maybe by the time you add the wet ingredients it will weigh out at 600 grams. That now dose not look to be enough, I am thinking the wet would weigh more than 100 grams. Did you weigh the pkt. of icing!

No I did not, that is perhaps the difference, never thought about that.thank you both.
