Colonial Cafe Napier

Does anyone remember the Colonial Cafe in Dickens Street Napier. . it was where Campbell's Bakery is now. They made a amazing little bacon, egg and cheeses savouries in bread cases... does anyone know exactly how to make them? Thanks

mmm... i remember them, i used to have one when i had lunch there, and always wondered myself how they made them. were they bread or pastry, i think the secret is lots of cheese and egg. put your question in hawkes bay thread /or wrinklies unite. they may know... . . yumm, , i can taste them right now.
