I have a ESP6, which I believe is the same as the ESP8 except for the colour.
I am trying to work out how long to have the shot pouring for the one cup and for the two cup filter.This cheap machine does not turn it off after the appropriate time like some more advanced machines.
I am experimenting a bit but wondering if anyone else has this machine and thinks they've worked it out.

We used to have one of these machines. Did you get a little white espresso cup with yours? I found that to be an excellent measure of how much coffee to extract before turning it off. Once you've done it a few times you get a feel for how long to leave it on for.

I got this one second hand and it didn't include one of those unfortunately.
Tried looking around using Google but no luck there, they only have reviews of the machines as a whole.
One person I asked didn't normally have milk with his coffee, and thought that you just have it going until it fills up the whole coffee cup!

I don't own that particular type of machine but as a guide my machine measures one shot of coffee as approx. 30ml and a double shot as approx. 60ml. Is that any help?
